Siena Admix AX150 Accelerator is an acrylic-based, liquid admixture designed to significantly speed-up the setting time of most non-modified mortars and grouts. Using Siena Admix AX150 Accelerator increases mortar and grout bond strength and flexibility by adding acrylic to the mixture. Siena non-modified mortars mixed with Siena Admix AX150 Accelerator in lieu of water will meet ANSI A118.4
Basic Uses
Siena Admix AX150 Accelerator is a liquid admixture used in lieu of water to accelerate the setting time of most non-modified mortars and grouts such as: Siena ThinSet 510, Premium Set 550, Siena Grouts, Type S and Stone Veneer Mortar (SVM). Siena Admix AX150 Accelerator is ideal for conditions in which job completion is time sensitive such as in commercial repair and installations that need to be fully operational in less than eight hours, and jobs that require maximum productivity in the shortest amount of time. Using Siena Admix AX150 Accelerator allows complete installation in 4 to 8 hours. The use of Siena Admix AX150 Accelerator with Siena’s non-modified mortar and grouts improves bond strength and flexibility by adding acrylic to the mixture.
