Siena Wall Float is a mortar consisting of portland cement complying with ASTM C150, hydrated lime complying with ASTM C207, and sand complying with ASTM C144. Siena Wall Float is designed to be used as a scratch and brown coat for most tile installations. Flexibility, adhesion, and water resistance of the wall float are improved when Siena Admix AX300 or AX400 are used in lieu of the mix water. Siena Wall Float is available in gray.
Basic Uses
Siena Wall Float is designed as a scratch and brown coat over open framing with lath or over solid backing, such as concrete or masonry. Siena Wall Float may be used for interior or exterior applications on walls or ceilings, and is a suitable substrate for most tile installations using the conventional or thinset methods.
